Open Positions:

Full Time Teacher Aid/After School Teacher K-6

Lander-Grinspoon Academy, a private school in Northampton, MA, is currently seeking a full time Teachers Aid/After School Teacher for the 2022-2023 year. This is an in-person position. This position will include support to the Kindergarten classroom teacher, covering lunch/recess (outdoors), After School care and/or substituting for a teacher who is out. The hours for this position are 9:30am-5:30pm Mon-Friday.
The ideal candidate is someone who works well as part of a team. They are enthusiastic about contributing to school wide initiatives including social justice, our on-site working farm, and creative arts. They communicate and partner with families and nurtures within each student a joyful sense of identity.

Hebrew Teacher

Lander-Grinspoon Academy: The Solomon Schechter Day School of the Pioneer Valley, in Northampton, MA, is currently seeking a dynamic, creative and highly motivated half time or full-time Hebrew teacher.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Hebrew, able to conduct Tal Am ivrit b’ivrit classes, has strong Judaic knowledge, and experience teaching in primary grades. They are enthusiastic about contributing to school wide initiatives including social justice, our on-site working farm, and creative arts. They communicate and partner with families and nurture within each student a joyful sense of Jewish identity.
We are an open and diverse Jewish community providing an outstanding K-6 education. At our school, each child’s success is our highest priority. Our philosophy, curriculum, and community all work together to ensure that each student is embraced and nurtured both as an individual and as a constructive member of the community. We have a strong social curriculum, which is integrated into all that we do, and feel that it is our job to educate students not only with a strong general and Judaic education, but also to teach students to be menches. Our teachers work collaboratively with each other, both in terms of curriculum and helping all children reach their potential.
